Rhinestone “The Beast” Cryptid Enamel Pin

$15.00

In 1886, a mysterious canine cryptid stalked the farms of Madison Valley, Montana, until it was shot and killed by a settler.

Known by many names—The Beast, Ringdocus, Madison Valley Monster, Shunka Warakin, and others— people have speculated what type of animal this cryptid may be. A relic dire wolf or prehistoric hyena? An African hyena escaped from a circus? A timberwolf, or some sort of hybrid? You can decide for yourself: The Beast was stuffed and displayed in an Idaho general store for decades, and today is on display at the Madison Valley History Association Museum.

In this hard enamel pin, The Beast is depicted in two, Rich Brown’s, with a lolling maroon tongue and white teeth. Its eye is a small red rhinestone that captures the light…and reminds you of the animal within. The gold-toned metal has a black stopper on the back.

Pin is just about 1.25” wide and 1” tall.

Comes ready for gifting on a branded heavyweight backing board with a short description of The Beast’s story.
