Cryptids of the Pacific Northwest
Published by The History Press, Cryptids of the Pacific Northwest is my book exploring the “hidden animals” that may share our weird and wonderful Pacific Northwest.
Cryptids of the Pacific Northwest shares the stories of over 20 cryptids (and a couple unusual known animals as well). With each cryptid, I share the legend, and then use expert interviews, newspaper articles and books, and internet deep dives to offer insights into what the creature might actually be, whether new species, misidentified known species, or hoax. The book also includes over 60 black-and-white photos, newspaper clippings, and original illustrations by artist Kate Rosendale.
