Summer Art Workshops for Adults

Mini vacations for creatives, Art & Arcana are art workshops hosted by artists Elizabeth Doering and Devon Kelley, and taught together with Mollie Fox and Jason Lozo.

These intimately-sized classes loosely correspond to the four suits of the tarot, and include all the supplies necessary for that class. Each class is approximately 2 hours long, and is opened with guided intention setting and grounding led by Elizabeth, and is concluded with a closing ritual led by Devon. Beverages and light refreshments are included.

Classes are purchased separately, and are limited to adults (18+ only).

These classes take place in Devon and Jason’s home in Lynnwood, Washington.

Meet Your Teachers

  • Elizabeth Doering, she/her

    Elizabeth Doering’s commitment to more sustainable practices in textile design is deeply linked to her journey as a yoga instructor, and student of buddhist philosophy and mindfulness. Elizabeth has studied with renowned textile teachers from coast to coast, earning a BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design and taking fabric dye classes from the costume designers at Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s repertory theatre in Ashland, Oregon. elizabethdoering.com

  • Mollie Fox, she/her

    Mollie is a Creativity Coach and Writer who helps people connect to their inner compass and move forward on personal and professional goals. Her creative workshops support people who feel stuck, burned out, or unsure what’s next and want to spark creativity and begin making progress.

  • Devon Kelley, she/her

    I love to make art and messes. While I have a BFA in fine art photography, I work with many, many mediums, including watercolor and acrylics, mixed media miniatures, beading and silversmithing, quilting and sewing, poetry and writing, and more. I’m inspired by folklore and fairytales, and incorporate themes from queer culture and my witchcraft practice.

  • Jason Lozo, he/him

    I went artist-to-engineer because I love to tinker and I love it even more with corporate funding. But in my off time, I still love to make, be it wood, leather, metal, in motion or static. I will jump haphazardly into anything that strikes my fancy, and I think that’s what makes life interesting.
